On 22 May 2026, we signed our first cooperation agreement with a partner specialising in \nthe collection of biological material. This partner is Pozna\u0144-based Biobank OPEN<\/strong> \u2013 a \ncompany belonging to the Alina Pie\u0144kowska Centre for Cancer Prevention and \nEpidemiology, located on Kazimierza Wielkiego Street in Pozna\u0144, with experience in \ncollecting and storing biological material for scientific and research and development \nprojects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the last two weekends in May, with the help of medical laboratory staff from OPEN \nBiobank, we are starting to collect blood samples from which DNA will then be isolated for \nsequencing. When and where can you donate a sample?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udcc5 30 May (Saturday) \u2013 Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences<\/strong>, 17\/19 H. Wieniawskiego Street, from 10:00 to 14:00<\/strong>, during a workshop organised by the \nCentre for Innovation and Social Education (CIES) at the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, \nPolish Academy of Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note! The number of samples collected is limited. As a rule, we do not accept \nsamples from relatives (with the exception of families affected by rare diseases).
